Whilst we hope you enjoy your visit to us, we thought we would do a list of places and things to do that we enjoy ourselves.

If you are staying over, Posh Pads they have a range of gorgeous one and two bed apartments centrally located – a perfect base to explore the city.

Lock & Key is a lovely boutique hotel which serves the best breakfast in town (our opinion of course) ideally located to explore.

After breakfast a walk around the Albert Docks the vibrant heart of Liverpool’s historic waterfront, visit the Maritime Museum, Tate Liverpool and the International Slavery Museum whilst taking in all the culture around you , and the many local events that take place throughout the year.

Tired? Stop off at Lunya for lunch, authentic Spanish tapas, Spanish dishes, deli platters and a great wine list, alternatively try Albert’s Schenke a Bier & Cook Haus with great food and drink. If it’s a nice day both have outdoor spaces. Liverpool 1 is just around the corner for some afternoon shopping, before visiting Amalia for your evening meal, the finest Italian food awaits! It is directly opposite us.

Ready for some evening drinks, we recommend our sister pub The Denbigh Castle - all sports shown, and a very similar beer range to us – cask, craft and continental beers. Cocktails more your thing? Head to Present Company the best cocktail bar in town.

Fancy exploring more in the evening, you must try Shiverpool their evening Ghost and History tours are such fun and very informative. Alternatively Explore Liverpool's captivating history with Liverpool Famous Walking Tours. Their knowledgeable local guides provide entertaining and informative tours of the city, showcasing its iconic landmarks and hidden gems.

We could carry on giving tips of places to go – please email us or ask at the Bar and we will be happy to recommend places for you
